On the walls of Hotel Cortijo Soto Real, the Belgian photographer-painter Georges-Charles Vanrijk.

Mr. Vanrijk is spellbound by the beauty and charm of Andalusia. His works of art can be enjoyed at Hotel Cortijo Soto Real.

His grand photo-paintings come in 90 x 90 or 120 x 120 cm. In the original art piece the picture does not replace the drawing, but is an integral part of it, a fusion between photography and painting. This succesful mix was first tried in the 20th century by American artists and Georges-Charles Vanrijk. Mr. Vanrijk was able to inject emotion into the photographic image and the acrylic paint.

It's no surprise that many celebrities trusted Vanrijk with the painting of their portraits.
